We offer several tiers of support to our unhoused neighbors, from direct front-line food assistance to peer support, resource navigation and benefits enrollment to housing assessments, vital documents, and case management.
At every step, our programs are designed to encourage community engagement and promote stability.
By sponsoring one of our programs, you can be sure your contribution has a direct impact on your community.
Boulder Feet Forward serves an average of 140 nutritious, balanced meals per week. We partner with local business and organizations to receive food donations that limit food waste and partially supply this program.
Boulder Feet Forward uses our lived experience and works closely with our constituents to determine what personal care supplies are most useful. To eliminate as much waste as possible, we allow folks to choose what they need at our events, rather than offering pre-made kits. Where possible, we aim to supply our participants with sturdy, reusable items that promote stability. We distribute about 150 personal care items per week, including first-aid supplies.
Boulder Feet Forward partners with Wash and Wave in North Boulder to provide laundry vouchers to participants who express interest. This program aims to promote and support stability and self-sufficiency and reduce waste by providing the means for folks to responsibly reuse their clothing and gear rather than continually get replacements. We distribute about twenty laundry vouchers monthly, good for one load washed and dried.
Boulder Feet Forward partners with RTD's nonprofit program to purchase bus passes at half price, which we provide to our neighbors to enable their mobility out of the downtown area. Three hour passes allow folks to attend appointments, get to food pantries or grocery stores, and generally move about the community freely. Monthly bus passes are supplied to our clients who actively engage with case management, those who work, and those who volunteer at our event or events like ours three or more hours per week.
